About
Yanira grew up in New York City and had a non-traditional upbringing. The only option available to her was to succeed in any way he saw possible, which has always been his driving force in immersing herself in learning new things and exposing herself to new experiences. Originally, she went to school for Criminology with the intention of becoming an attorney. However, life experiences led her down a different path, and Yanira has since committed her life to serving the community.

Experience
In her current role, Yanira assists the Special Transactions team in building relationships with potential buyers, understanding their investment criteria, and connecting them with seller clients. To achieve this, she conducts research on the seller clients to grasp their identity, vision and mission, brand promise, and emotional connection to their company. This enables her to narrow down potential buyers who can facilitate a successful transaction.
In her previous role, Yanira managed a construction company and prepared RFPs for contracts with the City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, US, and Hillsborough County Public Schools. She facilitated and coordinated construction projects valued at $5 million and above, meeting with potential clients to pitch project overviews based on their needs. Yanira chose to join Benchmark International to expand her relationship-building and finance skills, viewing it as an opportunity to learn another facet of the finance industry.
Passion
Yanira’s passion has always been serving her community in any capacity. She has been involved in numerous community events and has actively supported others in their mission of giving back.
