October 5, 2020

Benchmark International is proud to announce that James Robinson, Associate Director for the Manchester Transaction Team, has been awarded ‘Young Accountant of the Year’ by Insider Media as part of its North West Young Professionals Awards 2020.

This award is for accountancy-related professionals and includes people working in professional practice and in the finance teams of corporate businesses.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions, no awards ceremony took place this year, but the achievements of those across a range of sectors including banking, accountancy, law, property and marketing, are still being honoured.

James celebrating Insider Young Professionals win

James leads a Transaction Team and has a portfolio across a diverse range of sectors ranging from £2m to £50m+ turnover.

James’ personal approach, successful negotiation skills and technical knowledge are all reasons that have contributed to James’ success. James gained his Corporate Finance Qualification last year, a groundbreaking year for James as he completed 10 transactions with a combined Transaction Value of c.£80m.

Despite the challenges of 2020, James and Benchmark International have maintained deal momentum, with many completed deals, which included James successfully advising on an employee ownership trust (EOT), which was named Deal of the Month by Insider.

The latter part of 2020 is expected to bring a wealth of deal completions, testament to the work of the teams across the company and bolstered by Benchmark International opening its new Manchester office.
