Mr. von der Heyden originally hails from Hueckeswagen. Following his professional training in the banking sector, he pursued studies in Banking & Finance in Cologne. He obtained his master's degree in Lisbon with a focus on management, during which time he gained extensive experience in various areas of business administration.​

In his previous professional roles at institutions such as Stadtsparkasse Remscheid and Basinghall Ltd., consultancy took precedence, and he consistently prioritised the success of his clients and partners.
