Mr. Duncan has held multiple roles at Benchmark International. He has taken new clients through the entire M&A process to successful results, traveled to meet and cultivate relationships with business owners, and performed in depth analysis on companies. Today, he is the Director of Origination for our U.S. offices where he manages, educates, trains and directs our origination analysts and team leaders on the types of business we seek to earn on behalf of, ensuring that they provide the best service possible. He is hands-on each day and constantly reminds his team that we exist to create value by helping business owners.
What makes Wade most proud of his contribution at Benchmark International is the rate of success from clients that engaged with us because of his role as director. He always represents Benchmark International with pride and is never hesitant to put his name on the terms that will carry a deal through to the end.

Wade oversees Benchmark International’s new client generation efforts for our U.S. transaction offices, ensuring that we are targeting businesses with attractive qualities by directing the efforts of our team leads and deal originators. He provides daily education to our employees involved with finding new business opportunities about favorable characteristics to seek out whether it be based on market timing, universally positive traits, or specific ownership needs that drive motivation. He personally reviews each new appointment that is placed into our field director’s diary for quality, inspecting multiple aspects such as: sector, industry, size, profitability, ownership motivation, and business model, to name a few. This allows him to confirm that there is a potential fit between Benchmark International, the company we are meeting with, and the company’s ownership.
Mr. Duncan is driven by results for our employees and results for our clients. Specifically, in his experience with Benchmark International and how we operate as a company, he has gained the ability to quickly look at a company on paper and make a determination if the company would be a good partner for Benchmark International. With a natural inclination to help others, teach and coach, he is able to relay that experience to his team so that they can become more independent in understanding what is best for Benchmark International, our clients and potential clients.
