Business Report Writer
Benchmark International is Ireland’s and the UK’s market leading mergers and acquisitions specialist, handling company sales across all areas of both the SME and corporate mid-markets.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our established organisation and become an integral member of our Transaction Team.
We are seeking driven and motivated individuals to perform a multi-faceted and report writing role, as part of a team that manages a portfolio of clients who are in the process of selling their businesses.
Duties will include:
- Reviewing notes, paperwork and other literature (including financial statements) regarding business sales, extracting the most salient pieces of information.
- Preparing comprehensive and detailed Business Reports, structured in a manner to engage various types of reader.
- Liaising with clients and internal departments at Director/Shareholder level to gather, review and discuss information required to prepare Business Reports.
- Conducting teleconference, web-conference and face-to-face meetings with clients, as required.
- Fostering good working relationships with clients, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
- Other general duties, as required.
Experienced and trainee candidates will be considered for this role. Experienced candidates are expected to have the following:
- Strong written skills.
- Confidence in communicating ideas and delivering compelling content across print.
- Excellent IT and MS Office skills.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Strong desk research abilities.
- Possess a confident and professional telephone manner.
Full training in each aspect of the role will be provided, so previous experience is not essential.
