About

Jason grew up in Coral Springs, Florida, just outside of Fort Lauderdale, in a small family that ran a small business focused on sports memorabilia. He helped with different aspects of the business, watching his parents work hard to build something of their own. This taught him the value of dedication, persistence, and making smart decisions. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Asset Management. Growing up around business owners and seeing firsthand what it takes to succeed pushed him to always think ahead, work hard, and focus on the bigger picture.

At Benchmark International, Jason works exclusively on the sell-side, helping business owners maximize the value of the business they’ve built. Selling a business is more than just a transaction, it’s a major milestone. He takes pride in guiding sellers through this process, ensuring they feel confident and in control every step of the way, helping them secure the best possible deal while protecting the legacy they’ve worked so hard to create.

Experience

Jason initially joined the team as a Deal Originator, and was quickly promoted to Area Manager for our Nashville office, overseeing the Midwestern Region, spanning from Pennsylvania westward to Missouri. He leads a team of associates focused on outreach to business owners who may be considering a full or partial exit. Beyond team management, he oversees 15+ calendars for our Directors, acting as the first point of contact for business owners, and setting the tone for their initial impression of Benchmark International. His role involves explaining what potential clients can expect, arranging meetings, and optimizing processes to drive efficiency, increase outreach, and position Nashville as one of the top-performing offices in the Americas in deal flow. 

Passion

Jason is passionate about focusing entirely on the sell-side of M&A because it means we are dedicated to helping business owners get the best outcome possible. Being the first point of contact, he takes pride in building relationships with business owners, understanding their goals, and ensuring they feel confident from the very start. Every conversation is an opportunity to provide support during what can be an overwhelming process. Helping sellers navigate this journey while protecting their “baby” that they’ve built over many years is incredibly rewarding and is exactly why he loves what he does.
