Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between Bormann & Gordon Unternehmensberatung GmbH and mac Holding GmbH (‘management consult’)

Founded in 1972 by Ruediger Bormann, Bormann & Gordon is a market research and consulting firm specializing in the retail sector. The company holds a leading position in Germany's food retail, gas station, and pharmacy sectors, serving an impressive client list of global blue chips. Under the leadership of Reiner Graul, who succeeded the founder in 1999, the company, located in Bad Homburg, has consistently expanded and strengthened its market presence.

management consult is an internationally active institute for market research and consulting operating from Mannheim and Bielefeld. Particularly in the energy, tourism, automotive, mobility, tech, retail and FMCG sectors, the company has built up outstanding expertise and references and has been firmly anchored in the marketing & sales departments of leading companies for many years. This 3rd acquisition in the market research industry marks another significant step in the group’s development strategy, bringing its number of employees close to 100 market research experts.

Rhein Invest, a German-Dutch investment company, specializes in long-term investments in mid-sized companies with strong market positions. It focuses on profitable businesses in industrial supplies, manufacturing, and professional services. Back in June 2023, Benchmark International already facilitated the transaction between rc - research & consulting GmbH and management consult. This acquisition adds once more to management consult’s strategy in building a strong market research group.
