February 1, 2024

Cologne, Germany – In a strategic move to support its further growth, epa Dosiertechnik has announced a significant change in ownership facilitated by Benchmark International. The transaction, completed in January 2024, sees private investor Andreas Leitze acquiring a significant majority stake in the company, while former owner Robert Pauli retains a minority interest, together with managing director Uwe Langner.

Established in 1975, epa Dosiertechnik is an engineering specialist in gravimetric dosing technology for bulk materials, liquids and other substances. The company offers holistic services from initial plant layout to installation. Customers are well known manufacturing companies mainly in the areas of chemicals, construction, pharmaceuticals and consumer goods.

Andreas Leitze brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having held management positions in sales at leading manufacturing corporations like Rotzinger Group, Syntegon, and Bosch. The transaction marks a strategic alignment, as Mr. Leitze aims to leverage his expertise in sales and marketing, along with his industry knowledge, to further strengthen epa's position in the market.

Uwe Langner commented on the transaction: "We are very pleased that Andreas Leitze will be the new majority shareholder of epa. From the beginning we built up trust and a very good relationship with Andreas and we felt that he has the right skills and entrepreneurial attitude to positively support the business and the brand, epa, together with the existing management team. We highly appreciate that Benchmark identified this buyer for our company and that Benchmark’s team guided us professionally through the entire selling process.”

In response, Andreas Leitze acknowledged Benchmark International for presenting the entrepreneurial opportunity, emphasizing epa's nearly 50-year history and its solid position within its customers' production processes. As an active investor, Leitze is looking forward to supporting the existing management team and to contributing to epa's further success.
