Benchmark International Successfully Facilitated the Transaction Between Standmode Limited and Argent Industrial Limited

Benchmark International is pleased to announce the acquisition of Standmode and its subsidiary Mersey Container Services (MCS), by a UK-subsidiary of JSE-listed Argent.

Established in 1994, MCS designs, fabricates, fits-out and installs bespoke modular and anti-vandal cabins, utilised for office spaces, toilets, staff welfare, and storage. The company serves a customer base of national hire companies operating in the construction industry.

Argent is a steel products group that continually seeks new investment opportunities, synergistic to its current operations. The company operates in South Africa, the UK and the USA.

The transaction provides an opportunity for the Argent group to grow its business by further diversifying its portfolio of companies and expanding internationally into the UK.
