Jack Giles

Mr. Giles was born in and attended school in Cheltenham, before going on to read International Business Management at Oxford Brookes University. While studying for his degree, he completed a year in industry, working within the management accounts team for one of the UK’s largest office furniture manufacturers.

Having completed corporate finance placements, as well as observing an MBO in his father’s business, Jack decided to pursue a career in the industry. He learnt about the opportunity at Benchmark while completing work experience at one of the panel solicitors Benchmark uses, and saw the invaluable experience he could gain.

At Benchmark International, Jack generates interest in the opportunity, negotiates offers received and manages the deal execution.

PASSION

As a meticulous person by nature, Mr. Giles likes to drill down into the numbers and compare them against the current industry to provide meaningful feedback on offers received. He strives to stay informed with current events as well as maintaining relationships with private equity firms to enhance this.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Jack enjoys various sports including golf, skiing, rugby and football and has had the privilege throughout the years of being appointed captain of various sports teams in football and rugby.
