Mr Cooke grew up in Cambridge and studied at a small school just outside the city. He subsequently began his career in the automotive sector, where he gained valuable insights into the significance of clear communication, transparency and professionalism.

As Associate Director, Chester works within our origination team, working with equity owners across a range of industries to deliver tailored exit, growth, and partnership strategies. Chester brings a keen understanding of how political, economic, and timing factors can dynamically affect outcomes, guiding clients through these complexities. He appreciates the years of hard work and dedication our clients have invested and finds great fulfilment in witnessing their joy when their efforts are rewarded.

Chester’s role is to identify and evaluate the most advantageous opportunities in the market, carefully selecting businesses that align with our representation criteria. A critical aspect of his position is to comprehend the key value drivers, as well as the broader commercial benefits and challenges each business may present. This strategic understanding enables us to represent only the most promising opportunities at the appropriate time, thereby optimising the likelihood of a successful sale. He proactively seeks out potential companies for representation, aligning with our clients' objectives and motivations, and provides expert guidance on how we can collaboratively achieve these goals while navigating the often complex and intricate process involved.
