Roger Forshaw

Mr. Forshaw spent the majority of his childhood in the suburb of Altrincham, South Manchester. He attended a catholic grammar school before going on to study Business Management at one of the UK’s most prestigious Universities, Sheffield, where he obtained an upper second-class honours. Roger is a Senior Director and Team Leader for the Manchester Transactions Team and it’s his responsibility to ensure we sell our clients’ companies at the most advantageous price and terms possible, plus make their journey as pain free as possible. He is motivated by providing the best possible service and prides himself on getting results.

It was while he was studying at Sheffield University that Roger found his passion for corporate finance and international business. He wanted to be part of a company that would develop him as a person and his experience in mergers and acquisitions. Having turned down numerous jobs in his journey to find the perfect job, he applied for Benchmark International’s highly competitive graduate programme. After being interviewed by several shareholders, it became quickly apparent that it was perfectly suited to his values and would be the ideal environment to enable him to flourish. His participation in the graduate scheme saw him fulfill roles across many areas of the company, including Deal Origination and Deal Preparation where he established a rounded understanding of the M&A industry.
