Sam McNamee

About

Mr McNamee resides in Cork and has previous experience in net asset valuation for hedge funds, and is ACCA trained with degrees in Accounting and Business.

Sam has been with Benchmark International Cork since its inception and was drawn to the opportunity to help establish the company in Ireland from the ground up. He is responsible for managing the team in Cork, as well as negotiating and completing transactions.

Passion

A client’s company can often be their life’s work and Sam fully appreciates this, therefore he is passionate about providing a great service and ensuring he achieves the best deal possible for his clients. He always works in his clients’ best interests and understands the importance of building a trusting relationship.

Success

As Sam has been here since the Cork office’s establishment, he has overseen a number of successful transactions, achieving accolades starting from his very first deal which involved the acquisition of Office Technology (Irl) by Intuity Technologies.

Since then, the Cork office has seen several successful transactions, with stand-out deals including the acquisition of Writech Industrial Services Limited & Writech Manufacturing by Waterland Private Equity, the acquisition of Labplan by ADDvise, Bunzl’s acquisition of GH Pittman, and the sale of O’Flynn Medical to Healthcare21.
