Experience
Before joining Benchmark International, Tyrus held several positions in sales and sales management for large financial institutions. Through these positions, he was able to learn a great deal about the markets, and he eventually obtained his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses that allowed him to work in client-facing roles. Tyrus truly enjoyed the dynamic aspect of these roles but wanted to develop different skillsets further and pursue new challenges. As he completed his MBA through the University of Florida, he transitioned to a new company and position with a heavy focus on quantitative analysis of security products and financial instruments. In this role, his primary delivery was internal audit reports for SEC financial reporting requirements.
The combination of experience in his prior roles has given him a basis in which to develop great success with Benchmark International.
The choice to join Benchmark International was easy for Tyrus because of how the leadership inspires the organization to perform above standard levels. There is an excellent depth of knowledge that allows the team to operate successfully on a global scale. His role enables him to leverage his depth of quantitative analysis while still being able to enjoy the client-facing aspects of the industry.
